Cottage #2 - Spearfish Orchard Creek Cottages

Comfortable good value accommodation Positive: Spacious, clean and good facilities Negative: Having to call for code. We had phone that didn’t cover USA so had to get someone to call

What an adorable property! We arrived late evening but check in was a breeze and I couldn’t stop carrying on about how cute this small space was. Great for singles or couples. A short walk to Black Hills State University where we watched our boys run track. My favorite thing about Spearfish has got to be the rec walking paths. I got up early every morning and hit the path, which runs along the Spearfish Creek. Really lovely parks and surrounding areas. We walked to local restaurants (Dough Trader Pizza was a fave) and walked to Green Bean Coffee every morning as well. Of course, we had a visit to Mt. Rushmore - we were in absolute awe! Also spent time at the fish hatchery which was very educational, and took some time to drive the Spearfish Canyon. Highly recommend staying here as it’s so nice to unwind in a little cottage rather than having to retreat to a hotel room.

The cottage is So Cute and the only Bad feature is your Television system!! It is almost Impossible to Operate!!

This place was great! My boyfriend and I stayed here for 2 days and had a blast. The only thing we wish there would have been was some sort of picnic table for outdoor seating. Otherwise, great and clean place to stay!
