Vacation Rental Terms and Conditions
Booking and Payment:
1.1. To secure your reservation, a deposit of 100% of the total rental fee is required at the time of booking.
1.2. Payments can be made via credit card
1.3. Credit card payments are subject to processing fees, which will be clearly outlined during the booking process.
Cancellation Policy:
2.1. Cancellations made 31 days or more before the check-in date will receive a full refund, minus any applicable processing fees.
2.2. Cancellations made within 14 days of the check-in date will be refunded 50% of the booking amount.
2.3. No refunds will be provided for early departures or unused nights once within 14 days of the booking.
2.4 Refunds will be done via credit card refund. No checks or cash refund.
Security Deposit:
3.1. A security deposit may be required upon check-in to cover any damages to the property or its contents during your stay.
3.2. The security deposit will be refunded within 10 business days of check-out, provided no damages or additional charges are incurred.
Check-In/Check-Out:
4.1. Check-in time is 4pm on the day of arrival, unless otherwise agreed upon in advance.
4.2. Check-out time is 10am on the day of departure, unless otherwise agreed upon in advance.
4.3. Early check-in or late check-out may be accommodated based on availability and may be subject to additional fees.
Occupancy and Use:
5.1. The maximum occupancy of the rental property must not be exceeded at any time.
5.2. The rental property is for vacation use only and may not be used for any commercial, illegal, or hazardous purposes.
Property Rules:
6.1. Guests are expected to treat the property with respect and to leave it in the same condition as they found it.
6.2. Smoking is strictly prohibited inside the rental property or withing 25 feet of the building itself.
6.3. Pets are not allowed unless otherwise specified in writing by the property owner.
6.4. Any disturbances to neighbors or breaches of local laws or regulations may result in immediate eviction without refund.
Liability:
7.1. The property owner and management company shall not be liable for any accidents, injuries, or losses that occur on the premises.
7.2. Guests are responsible for their personal belongings and are advised to secure valuables at all times.
Dispute Resolution:
8.1. Any disputes arising from these terms and conditions or the rental agreement shall be resolved through negotiation in good faith.
8.2. If a resolution cannot be reached, both parties agree to submit the dispute to mediation or arbitration in accordance with the laws of Lawrence County, South Dakota.
Credit Card Fees:
9.1. In the event of a refund due to cancellation or other applicable circumstances, any credit card processing fees incurred by the property owner or management company will be deducted from the refunded amount.
9.2. The exact amount of credit card fees will be clearly communicated to the guest during the refund process.
